The Library is now CLOSED on Mondays.

Dear Society Members,

As a pre-cautionary measure, we will continue to keep the Library closed to the public. Members needing to use the library may call to set a possible appointment. Masks are required.

Also, continuing precautionary measures, we will not have the August 9 quarterly society meeting or the Board of Directors meeting. The Board stays in contact electronically.

As long as the City of Homerville continues having an employee occupy their offices in the building, Sharon or Lisa, not both, will be at the Library. Again the Library is closed to the public but you can call or email the Library. However, this mode of operation is subject to change.

            Concerning Dues and Library Support

A follow-up Letter regarding annual dues had not been sent, so please accept this reminder to check your records to be sure you have paid your 2020 dues. If not, the March magazine will be the last sent to you.  If you are unsure, please call the Library and either Sharon or Lisa will be able to tell you if your dues are current. Your continued support is appreciated and vital to Library operations.

Our Sympathy

We regret to inform you of the death of our Board member Nicolas “Nic” Booth of Homerville. He recently succumbed to Covid-19. He was an appreciated and contributing Clinch County citizen and valued member of our Huxford Society Board

Everyone be safe. Genealogy friends are some of the best friends and we miss seeing you.
